Terms of Service

1. Who we are

HerSquad ("we", "us", "our") is a women-only friendship and community platform operated by Vineet Gaur, an individual founder based in India, pending incorporation as a private limited company. Contact: vineetgaur19@gmail.com

2. Who can use HerSquad

You can use HerSquad only if all of the following are true:

• a. You identify as a woman.
• b. You are 18 years of age or older.
• c. You are a resident of India or using HerSquad from India.
• d. You have not been previously banned from HerSquad.
• e. You agree to these Terms and our Community Guidelines.

If any of these is not true, do not sign up. We reserve the right to remove any account that does not meet these conditions.

3. Your account

You must provide accurate information at signup, complete the selfie verification step, and keep your login credentials secret. You are responsible for anything that happens through your account. Let us know immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.

4. Content you post

You own what you post. By posting on HerSquad you give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, and distribute that content inside the HerSquad platform solely to operate the service. You do not give us the right to sell your content to third parties. You promise that content you post is yours to post, is not illegal, and does not break our Community Guidelines.

5. What you cannot do

• a. Pretend to be someone you are not.
• b. Create duplicate or fake accounts.
• c. Harass, threaten, or abuse any member.
• d. Share sexual, hateful, or illegal content.
• e. Use HerSquad to solicit paid services, promote businesses, or spam members.
• f. Scrape, copy, or use our data or member information for any purpose outside HerSquad.
• g. Interfere with the platform, attempt to reverse engineer it, or probe security.

6. Safety

HerSquad is built around verification, reporting, and blocking. We take every report seriously. We may suspend or ban accounts without notice if we believe a user has put another member at risk. Our decision in these matters is final for the platform, and is separate from any action taken by the police or courts.

7. Meeting in real life

We do our best to verify members but we cannot guarantee any member's identity, conduct, or intentions offline. Use common sense: meet in public places, tell a friend where you are going, and leave the moment something feels wrong.

8. Payments

HerSquad is free to use at launch. If we introduce paid features, those will be clearly marked, optional, and separately priced.

9. Account deletion

You can delete your HerSquad account at any time from Settings. Deletion removes your profile and chats from the platform. Some anonymous logs may be retained for up to 180 days for safety, fraud prevention, and legal compliance.

10. Intellectual property

The HerSquad name, logo, look and feel, and software belong to us. You may not copy, remix, or distribute them without written permission.

11. Disclaimers

HerSquad is provided on an "as is" basis. We do our best to keep the service reliable, safe, and useful, but we cannot guarantee it will be available every second, free of bugs, or free of bad actors. Your use of HerSquad is at your own risk.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, HerSquad, its founders, and its team are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Mumbai, Maharashtra.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If we make a material change, we will notify you in the app and by email at least 7 days before it takes effect. Continued use after the change means you accept the new terms.
